Product Overview

Taiji Fusion Tile is a laminated composite panel integrating waterproofing and anti-corrosion for roofing. It consists of a highly weather-resistant and highly reflective polyolefin waterproofing membrane, a multi-layer coextruded adhesive film, high-quality hot-dip galvanized steel sheet, and an anti-corrosion film. The profiled steel sheet on the lower surface of the product provides the structural function of the roof, and the TPO waterproofing membrane on the upper surface can significantly improve the waterproof and anti-corrosion capabilities of the roof steel sheet. The rigid-flexible composite method makes the two different materials complement each other, solving the waterproof and sealing problems that are difficult to solve at some detailed nodes (such as penetrated pipes, ridges, skylights, fans, etc.) of traditional metal roofs. At the same time, it can significantly reduce the waterproof construction time and is a time-saving, labor-saving, and reliable building waterproof material.

Constraction steps

Preparation before construction → laying wire mesh → laying insulation layer and pre-laying composite tiles → laying and fixing composite tiles on the large surface → hot air welding of long side overlap → repairing fixing screws → welding and inspection of joints → self-inspection and acceptance.

Constraction requirements

• During the hoisting and handling of the roof outer panel, there should be protection measures such as wind prevention and deformation prevention。
• During the construction process, the installation reference points of the roof outer panel should be regularly checked; and the installation should start from the installation reference line. The first panel should ensure verticality and horizontality, and be installed in the specified sequence and area; the installation of subsequent panels should match the transverse overlap of the panel, and the deviation should be adjusted during the installation。
• When laying the roof outer panel, a temporary construction passage should be set on the panel, and the panel surface should not be damaged; the roof outer panel that has not been completely connected and fixed should have temporary fixing measures。
• The end of the roof outer panel should be cut neatly and cleanly on site; the long side of the composite tile should reserve an overlap edge and be welded by hot air using an automatic welding machine. The position of the fixing screw should be covered by a TPO cover sheet through hot air welding；If the overlap edge is slightly contaminated, it should be cleaned with a suitable cleaning agent before hot air welding
• When the overlap joint is welded by hot air using a handheld hot air welding gun or an automatic welding machine, the welding temperature should be controlled within a reasonable welding window.
